This policy explains what information YouTube Playlist Analyser (the "YouTube Playlist Length Calculator & Study Planner") handles when you use this site, and what choices you have.

The short version

YouTube Playlist Analyser has no user accounts and collects no personal information. You paste a public YouTube playlist link, we look up how long the videos are, and we show you a schedule. We don't ask who you are and we don't build a profile of you.

What we process

• The playlist link you submit. It's sent to our server to look up video durations. Results are temporarily cached (about 24 hours) so repeat lookups are fast. The cache is keyed by the public playlist ID and is not linked to you.
• Standard server logs. Like nearly all websites, our host records requests (IP address, browser user-agent, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting. These are retained only briefly by the hosting provider.
• Your planner settings (daily minutes, playback speeds) are used only to compute your schedule and are not stored.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details, because the site has no sign-up and nothing to buy.

Third-party services

YouTube / Google. To read playlist durations we use the official YouTube Data API. Your playlist link is sent to Google as part of that lookup. Google's handling of that request is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts. Page fonts are loaded from Google's font service, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA/UK, or the CCPA in California), you have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because YouTube Playlist Analyser holds no account data, in practice there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or erase. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we'll act on it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
